In the books of Job , Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon, we get a look into the minds of some godly men of the Old Testament and some men who were influenced by God, if not always godly in character. We see here that even though as a nation, Israel did not always act like God’s chosen people, there was always a remnant of godly people who recognized their accountability to God, the certainty of judgment upon sin and the blessings of living in a proper relationship with Him.
